Two Experiences Offered

3 Days Teacher Experience
Positive Discipline certification (Days 1 and 2), Uhau Humu Pilina (Day 3)
Location: Waiwai Collective at Ko’olau Ballrooms
Teacher Experience includes an official certification in Positive Discipline. Teachers and Counselors will gain practical, research-based tools to foster respectful, encouraging relationships, strengthen classroom communities, and minimize power struggles. Led by global educational consultant Joy Marchese, participants will earn official certification.

3 Days School Leaders Experience
Ho’okele ‘Āina launch (Days 1 and 2), Uhau Humu Pilina (Day 3)
Location: Windward Community College
School Leader Experience aims to launch a multi-year partnership and support system for developing ‘āina education at your school and growing best practices across our network. This launch prepares schools for teacher induction programming and annual summer institute.

Location: Waikalua Fishpond
All summit participants will gather at Waikalua Fishpond to enhance practices in social emotional learning through place-based, culturally grounded actions rooted in Nā Hopena Aʻo (HĀ framework).
