Pacific American Foundation is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed an extensive privacy policy to ensure our donors that donor information will not be shared with any third party, and because you have the right to be informed of what data is collected and how it is used.
Information that may be collected through our website forms or other correspondence:
- Contact information: name, organization/place of employment, complete address, phone number, email address
- Payment information: billing information
- Information concerning how you heard about PAF ‘Ohana
- Information you share, such as your questions, comments, suggestions; and your request to receive periodic updates (e.g., to individuals who request it, we will send periodic mailings related to specific fund-raising appeals, newsletters, volunteer opportunities, and event information.)
How information is used:
PAF uses your information only to understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you periodically about our organization and programs.
Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are NOT retained for other purposes.
We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested, and we take seriously any recommendations as to how we might improve our communication.
PAF will not sell, rent, lease or otherwise provide your personal information to other entities.
Donor information will be kept confidential, used only for internal purposes of our agency. Donors may be acknowledged publicly at donor’s request, or anonymously if preferred.
Removing your name from our mailing list:
We endeavor not to send unwanted mail to our donors. If you wish to remove your e-mail address from our email lists, simply click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the e-mail. You can also update your mailing preferences by contacting derek@thepaf.org
